"My Little One Loves It!" I bought this for my 19mo old for Easter. She absolutely loves it! I myself have a pink dell mini laptop, and my little girl really loves to try to be like Mama, so i thought this was a perfect fit! Many of the other kids laptops i looked at didn't actually interact with the child like a real laptop, they just looked like one with a big sticker as the screen. Ha ha that would not hold my curious and active toddler's attention for more than a few minutes! I really like the games that this model plays and she's learning while she's playing so that's a big bonus. My little one had already figured out how to play with a real computer mouse, scrolling up and down pages and clicking on items she liked, so it was important to get her her own computer that had a mouse just like a real computer mouse. For those who have a child that's constantly trying to play with YOUR laptop (re: typing on the keys, maneuvering the mouse and understanding the screen image reacts to such) this kiddy version is fabulous! Especially for those little ones that are not ready for a REAL laptop! (come on, they ARE still toddlers!) this is a great product!
"Even better than I expected" We bought this for my daughter when she turned three. She has had so much fun with this laptop. She can play more and more of the activities as she ages. The hide-in-seek letters activity really helped her learn the last few letters she was struggling with. It's helping her learn small vs. big, eye-hand coordination, etc. The screen being small doesn't bother me like I thought it would. She can spend a good 30 minutes playing on it....such a nice break from TV! It does seem to be durable, we've had it over 3 months now and my rambunctios 18 month old son hasn't broken it yet =)
"Vtech Computer" Our grandaughter is only 6-1/2 months so she can't play the games yet; however, she loves her computer! It seems that she knows what to do with the keyboards and mouse, it keeps her occupied for a long stretch of time in her play pen!
"Major design flaw" This product has a design flaw: the games are so repetitive that they can only be entertaining for any length of time for children younger than 4 yo YET most of the games are working on letters which preschoolers just start to learn right before kindergarten, which can turn off the younger crowd. I would have gone with simpler games for the younger kids, or more options for the older kids with less repetition. The only game my almost 5 yo will play on it is the fishing game and she gets bored pretty quickly. If you want to really give kids 4 yo+ a teaching electronic toy, get them the Leapster with the Kindergarten cartridge. It's more money, but WAY more value too.
"(Half) Hours of fun" My three year old enjoys her computer, and sits and plays it for a good amount of time now. She didn't at first, but she is getting to the age where she understands the games a bit more now. Some of the games are still definitely too complicated for her, but I like that it is a toy that she can "grow into." She feels like mommy with her own little computer, too, and will even tell my husband and I, "I have to do my work!" For the price, you can't go wrong with this!

What our customer's say!
"My Daughter loves it!", I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old and she loves it. Although she doesn't understand quite yet how to play the games, she enjoys pushing the buttons and moving the mouse around just like she sees me on my computer.
"Not long lasting", laptop broke within three months of purchase. This is the third Vtech product we purchased that didn't last very long. My daughter loved it while it was working (she got it for her 2nd birthday).
"Kids Laptop", I got this gift for my niece because she was always buggin my brother when he was trying to get work done on his laptop. Now they sit side by side with that serious look - - don't bother me, I'm working. She tells her Dad, "I've got work to do". It's a gut buster to watch her imitate her Dad, she loves this toy laptop better than her favorite doll - - what's up with that?
"a little too difficult", ordered this for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter-is very cute but is too difficult for her to understand-even for her grandparents!
"Great toy, my 4 year old loves it", I bought this for my daughter ([...] at Target in pink -it's also available in brighter colors and in a Winnie the Pooh for $2-$3 more, pretty much the same type of thing, possibly different characters...I didn't check).
Someone reviewed that they got it for a 2 year old. The age range says, 3-6...I don't think a 2 year old could navigate this level. So do yourself a favor and don't buy for the pre-potty trained set. It's a preschool-level toy laptop and it requires some logic to operate, problem-solving of the most basic level. I don't say that in a nasty way, it is what it is. I can imagine how frustrating that would be, both for parent and child, to have a toy that they can't get the knack of.
My daughter is 4 and she loves it. She likes the games feature the most. I like that it was inexpensive and it looks like it's going to be able to withstand some abuse so I was totally all for it. She can play games on a real computer and this one is great because it's instant gratification. There's never going to be a virus or a loading time for this and it's something that's just for her to use.
4 different operations, about 5 things to choose from for each: ABC's, Numbers, Logic and Games. Games, of course, is what she wants to play right now.
Uses batteries. Has it's own easy-to-use mouse that stores underneath. Can be left or right-handed.
I wanted to play around with it, but will have to wait until she's in school -when I asked her if she could use it, she said, "Get in line, please". LOL

Read this reviews before You buy...
"Dalyla's Computer", I bought this to replace the one that Dalyla (age 3 1/2) had gotten lotion inside the keyboard. She loves it. She is a little too young to all the activities on it but will grow into it. I would buy it again. She has fun just playing with it and picking the letters and saying the sounds.
"Different than I expected", It was nice but I wish it did more computer type things than just preloaded programs. My Niece loves it and her Mom and her have fun playing together. She is 3 and I wanted something more for her to enterain herself.
"Nice learning device", I bought this for my daughter who is a little over 2 years old as a Christmas gift. She loves it but hasn't really learned all the games in the system. It will definitely allow her to grow with it since there are so much to do on there; it's like having their own laptop.
I recommend this product to any little ones.
"VTech Tote and Go Laptop", This toy is perfect for my 3 yr old grand daugher. She loves my computer so I purchased this one for her so I could work on our MarJac Outlets ecrater store when she is staying with us. She can not use all the features but she thinks she does..lol It is easy to use and I specially like the educational features. She can take it home and bring it back with her when she visits. It is the perfect toy for going to Grandma and Grandpas!
"Good Price for a Good Toy", I have looked at this computer for a long time and finally decided to get it for christmas for our girls. I have been pleased with it and it was a good price compared to others similar.
